These lyrics can be put to anything in life but I feel really called to speak to anyone single and reading this. Or anyone in a relationship that deep down they know isn’t from God. He will renew your strength!! We can only see today, but God sees tomorrow. He sees the other side of your situation. “There’s no predicting what is next.” But God directs our steps, so if we are following his direction it must be in the right direction! This is where trust comes in. Trusting that God knows what it best for our future. 

Don’t settle for less than God’s best. That’s not the life God wants for you, & deep down you know it’s not the life that you want for YOU! The man God has for you will respect you, push you closer to your calling, push you closer to God, help you heal from your past & encourage you daily. God will renew your strength so wait on the Lord!!

As you wait you become wiser. As you wait your strength is renewed. As you wait God smiles so proud. It may not be in your timing, but that’s where trust comes in again. Focus on being the best version of you for your future spouse. 

“Instead of trying in your own strength you should just wait. Instead of calculating what could go wrong, you should just wait.”

Repeat this to yourself, “my steps are ordered by the Lord. I should just wait.”
